European Light Industries Innovation and Technology (ELIIT) Calls Launched (Republished)
The 2nd call for proposals for the ELIIT project opened on Monday 25 January 2021.
This call for partnership proposals seeks to support SMEs working with textiles, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) and help them to integrate new technologies in innovative or high added-value products, processes, or services.
The main project goals are:-
- Promote the uptake of novel and innovative technologies by these SMEs, as a key step in guaranteeing their competitiveness;
- Boost international opportunities and innovation prospects for these SMEs in the Single Market and beyond; and
- Promote collaboration between TCLF SMEs and technology providers/owners.
The eligibility criteria confirm that United Kingdom SMEs are eligible to apply for these calls.
ELIIT will select 25 partnerships between SMEs and providers or owners of novel technologies that will aid the transfer of innovation and technology. These partnerships will be supported with €70,000, a coaching program, and networking activities to improve productivity, value chain integration, and resource efficiency.
You can still register on the ELIIT platform to find TCLF SMEs and technology owners and providers willing to collaborate and innovate.
