Strengthening links with Europe – £3 million research fund announced
The Scottish Government has announced the launch of its ‘Saltire Research Awards’, a new £3 million research fund aimed at addressing the impact of Brexit on research links with the EU and at maintaining Scotland’s rich history of effective European research collaboration.
The fund will be delivered via the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) and the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE). It will be open to researchers based in Scotland and Europe in all research disciplines, including multidisciplinary projects.
